Back to writing

After a very inspiring weekend, contemplating a lot about truth, faith, courage, loyalty and the fight within... I am back to writing - so many new ideas!

Carli B has moved

I've moved the site from Blogger to Wordpress. New look and feel :) I hope to be able to keep this more like a website here, because of the option of using a static front page (Welcome) and posting news on a secondary page (Pinboard). I hope you like the concept!

Winter Projects

As the barbeque-season is ending, the time we spend indoors can be used for more music :) So we went back to working on own songs. It's a fascinating experience, that keeps us entertained during the dark winter evenings (especially so if creativity is fueled with a glass of something high-proof).There are plans to record these own songs and compile a nice little album during the course of the next year :) I'm VERY excited!!! I'll keep you posted!

Party!!

Great house party with the live band Bigger Travel ... WE LOVE TO PARTYPictures by Chris Falk

So surreal

A tiny spa park area with 90 white benches in front of the obligatory open air stage. Sunburnt gray-haired pensioners listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd covers. Grand-children dripping ice-cream on T-shirts and dancing on the lawn to Smoke On The Water. Little boys getting wet at the fountain at dusk. Couples in trekking shoes and matching fleece jackets dancing disco fox to Deep Purple in the dark. Man, what an evening!Never listened to 60s and 70s rock in a more surreal setting...

Hendrix by Hansen

What a show! The one and only Randy Hansen came to Münster for a sold out gig together with his drummer Manni von Bohr and the fantastic bass player Ufo Walter. Hansen undoubtedly is the world's greatest Jimi Hendrix tribute guitarist and one of the craziest musicians I have ever seen! There is nothing he does not do with his instrument. Playing behind his back, with his teeth or playing soli while lying backwards on a pub table ... What a show, really! Open stage

Explored the talents of the  countryside today... Didn't know about this Open Stage Project before! Who would have thougt that in the back room of a village pub, one could be entertained by flamenco, stage play and truly talented musicians! Check out their page and come by on May 22nd for the next Open Stage Event!
