Hi. Welcome. I’m a singer/songwriter from Münster, Germany, born and raised in the greater Ruhr Area in the 1980s and early 90s. During my childhood years I was gently forced to play the piano, which at the time I did not appreciate. My techy Dad had gotten me a state-of-the-art electric piano (Yamaha Clavinova, for those who care). During my teenage years and for almost two decades thereafter, it silently collected dust before it finally died. Now I own a real piano, thanks to some very kind people, and I love to play it, (but let’s be honest, I’m really not very good at it).
My taste in music is very diverse, reaching from gipsy to rock music and from Irish folk to Americana, from piano instrumental to post-grunge. And anything in between. Because of my constant focus on lyrics, it was just a very short step to wanting to write my own songs. That is, the lyrics. The music is written by my better half and partner in crime, Chris, who is not a lyrics-person at all, but masters melody and harmony like no other (he will disagree, because he’s shy).
